I Am Willing

I am walking toward You

Steadfastly,

Broken yet determined,

Like lepers seeking a remedy

Or sinners seeking forgiveness.

I have passed through the deserts, all barefooted

With no stop, I have crawled up from the mountains

Now down at Your feet, bowing

I am longing, so desperately

To touch the Hem of your garment.

To Your Majestic Throne

Willingly, I have brought

My broken pieces,

All my un-shedded tears, hidden sadness, and enforced secrets.

Now revealed,

I am a leper; I am a sinner.

Let the world know.

In You,

I seek freedom,

And the knowledge of the alchemy of Your Healing.

I have purposed, so strongly

To touch the Hem of Your Garment.
