My good and Your Glory

I let go of questioning

Of longing to know, feel, be or experience.

I let go of sadness and depression

Of jealousy, desiring, and hastiness.

I am where I am,

I am where You want me to be.

No questioning, no complaining, no wondering,

only witnessing.

I turn to You in this,

I know

It is for “my good and Your Glory.”

My love for You is now thankfulness

I am finding refuge in it,

A secure shelter, being lighted with Your Love

Swimming in the serenity of Your Salaam,

And drinking the joy of Your Nearness.

I have never been this happy in misery

Blissfully, I am breathing in Your forgiveness.

What a delight, what a pleasure.

Swimming in this river of thankfulness

Fearlessly, with no shame of being naked,

I am experiencing a new level of drunkenness,

Not being aware of my existence.

My whole being is intoxicated now,

All radiating Your Light

All singing Your Love

Let me live in this drunkenness, in this sanctuary

Remembering nothing,

But You.
